B. S. Anangpuria Institute of Law has taken an inspiring initiative of organizing a seminar on “critical study of socio-legal issues in India”. The seminar was conducted in the presence of Hon’ble Director S.S. Tyagi, Principle Dinesh Kuneri, and principal R.K. Khar, Faculty members & students of VI Sem, VIII sem & X sem of B.S.A.I.L.

The seminar was organized under the supervision and guidance of our faculty member Mrs. Prena Verma assistant professor BASIL. Presenter in the seminar were students of X sem  BA.LLB &  VI  sem LLB.Students focused on current socio-legal issues. The topic on current socio-legal issues was assigned by our faculty member to students. Topics were SC/ST atrocities act in the light of recent  Supreme court judgment, Rights of LGBT  Community, Surrogacy, Media trial, law &  Nanotechnology, honor blot on Indian Society etc.

 

The entire session was interactive, informative, educative and it enhanced the knowledge of students on current socio-legal issues.It awarded them about the current scenario prevailing in the society and the problems concerning society.The entire session added to knowledge of students was beneficial.
