Students of Anangpuria Law School, Faridabad, participated in an educational visit to the Supreme Court of India to gain practical insights into the functioning of the country’s highest judicial institution.
The visit aimed to familiarise students with the working of the Supreme Court, including its original, appellate, and advisory jurisdictions, the process of filing Special Leave Petitions under Article 136, and the constitutional remedies available under Article 32. Students gained an understanding of the judicial hierarchy, court proceedings, the role of advocates, and the process of constitutional interpretation and adjudication.
The visit provided valuable practical exposure to the administration of justice, the protection of fundamental rights, and the significance of judicial independence and the rule of law. Overall, it was an enriching academic experience that connected classroom learning with the practical functioning of India’s apex court.
