On September 26, 2023, the B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Law organized a significant visit to the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, offering students a unique opportunity to gain insights into the core principles of democracy and the crucial role played by the judiciary in our nation.

The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, serving as the apex judicial authority in the country, stands as a symbol of justice and the guardian of our democratic values.

During this visit, students had the privilege of observing court proceedings at the Supreme Court, including non-sensitive cases. This firsthand experience allowed them to closely witness the eloquent legal arguments presented, the dignified courtroom decorum maintained, and the meticulous administration of justice.

Advocate on Record (AOR) Adv. Varun Mishra provided a concise overview of the historical evolution of the Supreme Court of India. Advocate on Record (AOR) Adv. Jugal Kishore enlightened the students about the procedure for becoming an AOR, emphasizing that the Supreme Court of India conducts an annual AOR exam, which is a significant and prestigious examination for lawyers practicing in India. Adv. Ajay Sharma, Adv. Shafik Ahmed, Adv. Anuj Sharma, and Adv. Karunesh expressed their deep enthusiasm for this remarkable learning experience.
